Join Chicas Latinas de Sacramento at Noche de Muertos on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Zocalo in Midtown Sacramento for a Dia de los Muertos Fundraiser benefiting Calidanza Dance Company!

Tickets are only $20… or you can volunteer (with us)! We still need volunteers to assist Calidanza’s fundraiser and our Chicas craft booth. RSVP to volunteer on our site, or email Calidanza: calidanzaco@gmail.com (and tell them Chicas Latinas sent you).

Calidanza Dance Company in collaboration with Zocalos Mexican Restaurant in midtown Sacramento will present Noche de Muertos. This fundraiser event will include music, dance performances, day of the dead fashion show, storytelling, face painting, and a free drink and appetizer courtesy of Zocalos. Come mingle with members of Calidanza Dance Company, Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Chicas Latina of Sacramento and many others!

The Historic Old Sacramento Foundation partnered with Sol Collective to provide a month of programs and activities in celebration of Dia de los Muertos. Workshops and events are held every Saturday in October from 11:00AM to 2:00PM in the Stanford Gallery at 111 I Street.
