Consider joining Chicas Latinas’ leadership team!

Chicas Latinas de Sacramento‘s Program & Events and Marketing Committees meet once a month on Tuesday evenings, and are in need of a few good committee members who are interested in learning, becoming involved in the community, and giving to Chicas Latinas in order to help us further our mission.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which relies 100% on our community volunteers and donations. As we continue into our 7th year of existence, we’re excited to grow and gain funding… but we need your help to continue our work! Men and women are welcomed to join, no experience is necessary (although it’s always a plus).

Celebrating Innovative Latina Thought Leaders

Join the Chicas Latinas de Sacramento at Thinkhouse Collective as we enjoy this great Latina Leadership event on Friday 10/11 at 6:00pm from the comfort of downtown Sacramento.

This will be a low-key Friday evening event. Come after work, wine will be provided, bring a snack to share, business cards, grab a seat and relax in the comfort of Thinkhouse Collective in Sacramento – while viewing and taking part in this fantastic Latina Leadership event!!! (Donation event, please give what you can.)

This idea came from a couple of Chicas who like to run and participate in local 5ks.

Las Chicas Latinas de Sacramento aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and always encourage being active – here’s a way to get healthy and active with your fellow Chicas members!!!

Las Chicas are starting a “Latina Running Group.” We have a few members who are very experienced in running and training, and they are ready to teach and lead the Chicas. Whether you are there to improve your health, learn how to run properly, have plans of participating in local runs, 5ks, or even have marathon goals — join us!

The Latina Running group will cater to inexperienced and beginning runners – ALL LEVELS WELCOMED!!!

Yoga Para Todos

Yoga Para Todos is our Thursday night 7:30 program to offer Yoga in Spanish. The following description is from a recent press release:

‘As a Latino, I know the community has limited access to the health and wellness benefits of yoga. Yoga Para Todos is an exciting step in the Yoga Seed’s mission to offer yoga to all members of the Sacramento community,’ says Zachary Pasillas, studio director and founder.

The 17th annual Altares del Mundo exhibition held it’s opening 2nd Saturday Reception at the Brickhouse Gallery this weekend. It was a great turnout!

The gallery was full of wonderful art and people who truly appreciated the art. Great vibes!

Chicas Latinas de Sacramento promotes not just connecting with each other, but also improving, connecting and embracing our culture and community. This group is designed for Latina women who want to expand their circle of friends with women who can share and relate to their life experiences, goals, and interests.

We offer our members a variety of cultural and community based events, such as: arts and crafts, cultural fairs, dance lessons, concerts, movie nights, cooking lessons, wine tasting, zumba classes, art galleries, Spanish lessons, business networking, and plenty of community and volunteer opportunities.

Chicas Latinas es un grupo de mujeres latinas para ampliar su círculo de amigos. Chicas Latina de Sacramento es cálida, amable, apasionado y talentoso! Este grupo promueve la conexión de unos con otros y mejorando, y que abarca la conexión de nuestra cultura y comunidad. Ofrecemos una gran variedad de Meetups. Por ejemplo: yendo a la cena, días de balneario, días de voluntarios, incluyeron en la experiencia!
